Christoph has more than 20 years’ experience in chemical engineering especially in the field of electro chemical process technologies, five of which in R&D and more than 15 years in sales and execution of EPC projects within thyssenkrupp.

Christoph started his career at thyssenkrupp Uhde in 2002. He worked in various functions and locations including engineering, commissioning and sales. Before he assumed his current role, he was from 2015 to 2016 Chief Operations Officer (COO) of thyssenkrupp Uhde Chlorine Engineers (Japan) Ltd. and was appointed Managing Director and Representative Director of thyssenkrupp Uhde Chlorine Engineers (Japan) Ltd. in 2016.

Since the beginning of 2020, he is heading the green hydrogen business at the thyssenkrupp nucera headquarter in Dortmund.
