Dr. Josua Vieten studied chemistry and materials science in Munich and earned his PhD at DLR, with research at Berkeley Lab. Driven by his vision to transform materials discovery, he initiated the founding of ExoMatter—spinning it out of DLR in 2022. Today, he leads the deep-tech startup as CEO. Before that, he worked as R&D Coordinator at Celonis, a leader in process mining and execution management.
