After studying industrial engineering at TU Dortmund and the University of Linköping, Nils Liesebach received his doctorate with a focus on mechanical engineering at the Chair of Technology and Innovation Management at the University of Wuppertal on the topic of “Innovation Management in Corporate-Startup-Cooperations” with a focus on resource-intensive startups. In addition to his doctorate, his field of activity at the chair was in the energy industry.
He then switched to the automotive industry, where the establishment of an innovation team (from scouting to handover to series production) and the formulation of the innovation strategy were the focus of his work.
Nils Liesebach is responsible for innovation management at Open Grid Europe (OGE). Here, the focus is on building new business areas and spinoffs.
