Sopna Sury is currently the Chief Operating Officer Hydrogen on the Executive Board of RWE Generation SE and is responsible for the group-wide coordination and expansion of RWE’s hydrogen activities. Under her leadership, RWE has set a growth target of 2 GW electrolyser capacity by 2030, supported by a 10 GW project pipeline. Sopna Sury has been Chair of the Hydrogen Europe association since April 2023. In May 2023, she started her mandate as a member of the Hydrogen Delivery Council.
