Wiebke Lueke is founder and managing director of WEW GmbH, a start-up in the field of water electrolysis. She is mainly responsible for the areas of development & marketing as well as for the topic of funding.

Wiebke Lueke studied chemistry in Oldenburg and completed her PhD in the field of fuel cell technology at the Department of Mechanical Engineering at RWTH Aachen University in 2021. Following her doctorate, Lueke was head of department at Forschungszentrum Jülich. In 2016, she transferred to industry and headed the Carbon2Chem project as project manager at thyssenkrupp AG.

In 2020, Wiebke Lueke decided to take the step into self-employment and founded WEW GmbH together with Dr. Gregor Polcyn and Dr.-Ing. Lukas Lueke. „WE MAKE GREEN HYDROGEN POSSIBLE” is the company motto. This is what the founders stand for with more than 30 years of combined experience in the field of hydrogen and water electrolysis.
